Description
The Kvetun federschwert, or sometimes called longsword or feder, has become one the bestsellers from Kvetun Armoury for a good reason. The federschwert has been a popular choice of many fencers over the last year due to its great handling and quality. The HEMA sword is excellent for German longsword fencing due to its length but can also be used for the Italian school of fencing.
What is a federschwert?
A federschwert is a blunt, safe longsword trainer used to simulate longsword combat as realistic a possible. The idea of a federschwert is nothing new. It has been used during the medieval times as a practice weapon to train soldiers as well as nobles. However, it was also used for sport duels as we use them today but with a lot less protection.
